David Williams has extensive project and programme management and leadership experience spanning 30 years in both the defence and retail sectors.

Most recently, David was the Programme Director for the Transformation of the Engineering and Operations function in QinetiQ - David led the architecture and formation of a new structure of 3500 engineers, technicians and scientists - moving from a silo'd organisation to one operating in a balanced matrix. 

​

Previously, David has led an improvement programme in the Weapons Division in QinetiQ, not only restructuring the business, but also working through the cost base - delivering major efficiencies whilst engaging with customers and regulators in a high hazard environment. 

​

Also, David has programme managed significant training and simulation packages of work - most notably programme managing the Synthetic Wrap capability with multiple DE&S and Frontline Command customers and stakeholders involved, David managed both within the Abbeywood environment and the live training environments in Canada and Salisbury Plain.
